Since the dawn of the 21st Century and the boom in web based business/advertising, now more than ever it is imperative to be able to have access to these resources whether in an individuals home or through their surrounding community. Free Internet - Find out if you qualify for the free internet program hosted by Cleveland for families you meet predesignated qualifications.

CMHA - Access the internet for free and for as long as you like at the Cuyahoga County Public Library.

Digital Excellence Initiative - Put forth by the Cleveland Foundation, this initiative focuses on providing free and efficient internet access to those who were previously unable to have such a service at home.

Community Groups Against the Digital Divide - Local community groups who provide eligible individuals with low cost computers and high speed internet to lessen the “digital divide” per article.

EmpowerCLE+ - Nonprofit focused on helping Cleveland get online. Available in Glenville, Woodland Hills, Clark Fulton, and Fairfax neighborhoods. The Hough and Buckeye-Shaker neighborhoods are coming soon.

The number of active mobile broadband subscriptions per 100 inhabitants continues to grow strongly, with an 18.4 percent year-on-year growth.

There is a strong correlation between a region’s income levels and the number of fixed-telephone and fixed-broadband connections per 100 inhabitants, reflecting the price and availability of fixed connections.
